DirtBoard is a bulletin board connecting contractors who need materials, trucks, labor, and equipment with those who have them available.

We are NOT:

  • A party to transactions between users
  • Responsible for verifying listings or user credentials
  • Liable for disputes, injuries, or losses from transactions
  • Providing any warranties about users or listings

3. User Accounts

  • You must be 18+ to use DirtBoard
  • Provide accurate information (email, phone, name)
  • Keep your password secure
  • One account per person
  • Email and phone verification required

4. Prohibited Content

You may NOT post:

  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent listings
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Misleading or false information
  • Off-topic content (non-construction related)
  • Harassing or abusive messages
  • Others' personal information without consent

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Verify who you work with: Do your own due diligence
  • Clear communication: Respond to inquiries promptly
  • Accurate listings: Post truthful, current information
  • Update or remove: Mark posts as filled when done
  • Professional conduct: Treat others with respect

6. Transactions & Liability

Important: DirtBoard is a communication platform only.

  • We don't handle payments or contracts
  • We don't verify credentials, licenses, or insurance
  • We're not liable for disputes, losses, or injuries
  • All transactions are between users - buyer beware

7. Content Ownership

  • You own your posts and messages
  • You grant us license to display your content on the site
  • We may remove content that violates these terms
  • You're responsible for what you post

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violating these terms
  • Posting spam or fraudulent content
  • Abusive behavior toward other users
  • Creating multiple accounts

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DirtBoard is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee:

  • Uptime or availability
  • Accuracy of listings
  • Quality of users or transactions
  • Freedom from errors or viruses

10. Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for:

  • Losses from transactions between users
  • Errors or omissions in listings
  • Service interruptions
  • Data loss
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold DirtBoard harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in applicable courts.
